There are three Cs in life: choice, chance, change. You must make a choice to take a chance, if you want anything in life to change.

Therapy Sessions

Support that meets you where you are—and helps you move forward.

If you’re navigating anxiety, depression, grief, chronic pain, or big life transitions...
If you’re feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you...
If you’re carrying trauma, perfectionism, or self-doubt that keeps you from feeling fully alive—

you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

I specialize in working with teens and young adults facing:

  • Anxiety & depression

  • Complex trauma & attachment wounds

  • OCD, BFRBs, and chronic pain

  • Grief & life transitions

  • Limiting beliefs & negative thought patterns

My Approach

I use a gentle, integrative approach that blends evidence-based tools with intuitive support. My work is rooted in person-centered therapy and narrative exploration, and draws from:

  • CBT & DBT

  • Internal Family Systems (parts work)

  • Self-compassion practices

  • Creative counseling

  • Interpersonal Neurobiology (IPNB)

I also integrate insights from neuroscience and attachment theory to help you better understand how your brain works—and how healing happens through safe relationships, emotional regulation, and a sense of wholeness.

What It’s Like to Work Together

Therapy with me isn’t about fixing you (you’re not broken)—it’s about creating a space where you can feel seen, heard, and safe to explore what’s really going on beneath the surface.
Together, we’ll work toward:

  • Greater emotional clarity

  • More self-compassion and confidence

  • Healthier boundaries and relationships

  • A deeper connection to your own voice and values

Whether you're a teen sorting through big feelings or a young adult craving more alignment in your life, we’ll go at your pace, in a way that feels supportive and empowering.

My Training

I hold a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling & Psychotherapy from Adams State University in Colorado. I blend my formal training with years of coaching experience supporting teens, families, and emerging adults through transformative life seasons.

“Miranda Dawn helped me reconnect with my inner voice and move through the mental roadblocks I’d built up. Her space is intuitive, creative, and completely safe to grow into who you truly are.”
— Amelia M., Young Adult Client

“She has helped my daughter understand herself better, have self-compassion, and grace to be who she is. Her growth from September until March was amazing. We thank you, Miranda Dawn.”
